TTC Murfreesboro held an induction ceremony for Fall 2011 student members on December 9 at 1:30 p.m.
Students are nominated by their program instructor based on an A average and minimal absences. Other criteria include: ability to follow directions, attend classes regularly, safety conscious, and exhibit good teamwork skills, take pride in work, be dependable, involvement in community service activities of the school, be responsible and honest, exhibit a positive attitude, exhibit leadership and good citizenship, and show initiative.
Once nominations are approved by the TTCM Chapter NTHS advisors (Jill Frost and Chris Ayers), students are required to submit materials to become members.
Student membership includes:
Membership certificate, pin, card, window decal, foil diploma seal, and official NTHS graduation tassel.
Special recognition at graduation.
Online educational and career resources.
NTHS Scholarship eligibility.
Letters of recommendation for employment, college admissions, or scholarships.
Potential recruitment opportunities.
