The mission of the Automotive Technology Program is to enable the students to obtain a thorough understanding of the design, construction, and theory of the operation within the automotive systems and their relationship to the complete automobile.
This course will provide you with a thorough understanding of the methods of servicing and repairing automotive vehicles. Each unit of study is approached by starting with the basic theory involved. You will receive a high degree of individual instruction and learn the use of tools, special equipment, technical manuals, computerized service equipment, service specifications, diagnosis, and methods of repair. Written and performance tests are given to record your progress. The instructor will help prepare you to take your certification examinations.
This program is accredited by Automotive Service Excellence. (ASE)
If you qualify, you may spend part of your training day working part-time in a repair shop in the local area. You may be able to earn money, gain experience on the job, and learn in the actual work environment while enrolled at the Center.

A certificate or diploma is awarded when you successfully complete specific units of study.
